Message from the President of the HOA
President
John Loudermilk
Tidelands Estates
Village at Palm Coast - Homeowners’ Association
First, I want to thank the board for their work and support over the past two years. I also want to thank the members of our HOA that voted to retain myself and the other board members for a second term. It is my hope that we can continue to move the community forward over the next couple of years. I want to assure you as members, that this board will continue to be up front and open about everything as we move forward with the plans that are in progress, and new plans that we intend to implement to accomplish as much for our community as possible in the future months.
I want to thank all of you that have volunteered to serve on committees that are the core of our community, and without your hard work, we would not have the great place to live that we enjoy daily. We are always looking for new people to assist on the committees. If you are interested, please contact one of the committee chairpersons or call me direct at 386-986-1540. We would be very happy to have your participation.
As president for a second term I intend to continue running things somewhat according to Roberts Rules, but still not going crazy with the order of things. It is our intention to get as much done as possible, and not worry so much about quoting rules. Our primary goal is to move the community forward, and to keep you, the members as involved and informed as possible. Meetings will be open and all residents are requested to send me or any of the board members any information that you would like to have on the agenda. Please send agenda items to us as soon as possible so we can prepare to respond as best as possible. We will have an open forum at all meetings where you can bring up anything you want. The only requirement is that we keep it to the 3-minute rule so everyone can still get to dinner.
Now that the legal action with Centex is complete and we have a successful resolution and the return of the common areas many things are still left to be done to complete all the projects that this action will afford us to do in the community.
I am excited about our future and look forward to working with our team of board members and committees to move our community forward over the up coming months.
John Loudermilk
